2023 Chamber Non-Profit of the Year Award

2023-11-19T22:31:39+00:00

The staff and board of directors are very proud and honored to be chosen as the 2023 Non-Profit of the Year by the Cortland Chamber of Commerce.  Executive Director Kim Hill, strives each day to provide a nutritious meal in a safe setting, with genuine hospitality for all our guests.  It is only with her commitment to excellence and the desire to feed those in need that we could even be considered for this award. Loaves & Fishes has extended this mission to address food insecurity in our community by funding six school food programs.  These initiatives provide weekend meals to those at risk students in our local school districts, and will serve approximately 25,000 meals annually in these six programs. Our sincere gratitude is extended to the Cortland Chamber of Commerce [...]

How You Can Help: Can & Bottle Fundraiser

2023-08-16T13:45:07+00:00

With the generous cooperation of Adhan Piping Company (Route 13, Cortland) and ONCO Fermentations (Meeting House Road West, Tully), Cortland Loaves & Fishes has been able to generate approximately $100.00 per month through bottle and Can donations. If you would like to help please leave your bottles and cans at either location. Kindly be sure that the bottles and cans have been rinsed and that storage bags are securely tied. Our Board Members, on a rotating basis, are picking up from both locations and delivering the cans and bottles to a local redemption center. If you are interested in volunteering for this ongoing fundraiser, please contact Kim at the Loaves & Fishes office at (607) 756-6195.
